99 no’s

No’s are hard, regardless of how many times you hear them, or don’t hear anything. It’s hard to throw out 10 little balls of your time and energy, only to have 2 bounce back at you, and those two are, of course…no’s. I know that you just have to focus on throwing the balls, but jeeze. On a rainy morning, freshly back in the group of “unrepresented” actors, it stings. The key is to distract yourself before going down the rabbit hole of reasons you believe you are unworthy, which you generally do a great job at suppressing. Cue, yoga class.
